Yang Doubles (But it Took Some Time)
With 49 players remaining, there's a AU$5,000 bubble going on right now. That's why some players take a bit more time to make up their minds. We just got a prime example in a hand between Ari Engel and Renjun Yang.
Yang opened the cutoff to 40,000 with just 6,000 behind. Ari Engel called from the small blind and bet out 20,000 on to put Yang all in.
Yang, with under a big blind behind, tanked for two minutes when Engel called the clock. After a minute the floor informed Yang he had 90 seconds left to act on his hand. In between Engel told him "I have the best hand for now, but anything can happen."
With about 10 seconds or so left, Yang made the call. Engel confidently showed but that in fact wasn't the best hand. Yang showed and took down the pot after the on the turn and on the river.
