Reigning Champ Makes Broadway

Last year’s Aussie Millions Main Event champion Ari Engel is in the building and chipping up after making a Broadway straight against an unfortunate tablemate.
It went three-way to the flop of 
and after the big blind checked, Engel bet 750. The third player called and with the big blind out of the way the dealer presented the 
turn.
Engel kept up the aggression with another barrel for 2,000 and was called again before the 
river completed the board. Engel opted for a bet of 4,000 on the end and was paid off with his 
for Broadway.
His opponent let out a sigh of disbelief and muttered about having two pair as the pot was pushed to Engel.
