" According to Barbu, for the past two years he has been eliminated holding pocket aces.
This time around, it wasn't aces that Andrew Theakstone held when he sent Barbu to the rail, but rather the exact opposite.
Getting his last 100,000 chips in the middle with 
on a 
flop, Theakstone held 
for a pair and would need to dodge straight or pair cards to eliminate Barbu. The turn and river came 
and Barbu was eliminated.
