Seat 2: Simon Morris - 80,000
Seat 4: Jim Sachinidis - 42,000
Seat 5: Ben "Buford" Edwards - 20,000

Early Action?

Aside from the early elimination of Michael Lipari, the action at the final table has been sort of dull. Jimmy Sachinidis has been entertaining everyone with his witty table banter. Simon Morris has been standing up a lot to peek at the board when he's in a hand. Let's hope that he wins enough money in this event to purchase a set of specs.

Ivan Sop almost pulled a "Vinnie Vinh" when the event started with out him. His empty chair was getting blinded down without him. He finally showed up thirty minutes late and offered up no excuse for his tardiness.

James "Welcome Back" Potter has increased his overall chiplead. He's the first player to pass the 150K mark.

He Sould Have Gone to Spec Savers

Simon Morris, who drew Seat 2 today, has been standing up out of his chair every time a flop is dealt so he can see the board.

"Hey man, you wanna sit here?" queried Jim Sachinidis from the more centrally located Seat 4.

"I think you need glasses," joked the bespectacled Ben Edwards.

Paging Ivan Sop!

Has anyone seen this man?
Has anyone seen this man?
Ivan Sop, who finished up last night fourth in chips with 53,500 has yet to show up to play today and is currently being blinded off.

If you're reading this Mr. Sop, you might want to get yourself down to the poker room!

Table Talk: Jim Sachinidis

The final table just got a new dealer in Anthony "Slippers" Molinari, prompting Jim Sachinidis to point at him and issue a warning.

"You'd better be good to me. The last dealer dealt me K-K and Q-Q!"

Michael Lipari Eliminated in 8th Place ($3,690)

Michael Lipari - 8th Place
Michael Lipari - 8th Place
James Potter opens for a raise from UTG, Jamie Pickering three-bets, Michael Lipari caps, Potter folds and Pickering calls. The flop is {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Pickering bets out, Lipari raises all in and Pickering calls.

Pickering {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Lipari {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Pickering flopped a set to crack Lipari's pocket kings, the {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river failing to improve his hand, and he headed to the rail in 8th place. He earns $3,690 for his finish.

Here Come the Big Stacks

Jamie Pickering raises the second hand, inducing folds from the rest of the table.

"Oh great, the big stacks are already bullying the table!" lamented a short-stacked Jim Sachinidis.
