Welcome back for Day 1b of the 2023 Bar Poker Open Championship at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas.
A total of 666 players fired in yesterday's two flights and 34 players found a bag, in what is shaping up to be the largest Bar Poker Open Championship event on record. This has generated a prize pool of $199,800 with today's flight set to be the largest of the three, and the event is guaranteed $100,000 for the 2023 champion.
Today's flight will see a blend of new hopefuls, fallen players from yesterday's flights and an array of players already in Day 2, as they look to carry a second stack through and claim an additional $1,500 in their pocket.
The chip stack to beat is Anthony Lundy, from New York Street Poker, who bagged 1,655,000 after eliminating Raymond Lizzol to burst the Day 1 bubble. Other notable stacks include Chad Miller (1,300,000) and Marvin Coom (1, 050,000).
