Two Doubles During Break
There were two doubles during the break, barring us from getting full counts from around the room.
In the first, Hans Winzeler raised to 28,000 in middle position, Yuval Harosh called on the button, and Ryan D'Angelo re-raised to 80,000 out of the small blind. Winzeler folded, and Harosh called.
The flop fell , D'Angelo led out for 60,000, and Harosh moved all in for 250,000. D'Angelo called.
Harosh:
D'Angelo:
Harosh flopped top set of nines, and was in great shape to send D'Angelo packing, but the spiked on the turn to give D'Angelo a superior set. Only the case nine could eliminate D'Angelo on the river, but the on the river was a meaningless card.
He doubled to 714,000 chips, while Harosh dropped down to 650,000.
At an adjacent table, three players took a flop of ; Brock Parker, Bobby Oboodi, and Byron Kaverman. Parker led out for a bet of 28,000 into a pot of around 100,000, Oboodi moved all in for 174,000, and only Parker called.
Parker:
Oboodi:
Parker needed to catch a king or running fours to eliminate Oboodi, and the latter held as the turn and river bricked off , respectively.
