, Hook checked, and the 2014 Global Poker Index Player of the Year leader continued for 20,000. Hook check-raised to what looked like 55,000, and Stammen snap-mucked.
The very next hand, Hook raised to 6,500 from under the gun, and Stammen almost beat him into the pot, three-betting to 15,000. The action folded back to Hook, who was grinning as soon as Stammen put in the re-raise, and he folded.
"I feel like we're even," Stammen said to Hook, smiling.
