Big Stack Roundup
Level 14
: 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Thanks to a sweep of the perimeter for towering chip castles, the PokerNews' photography department has managed to spot a new chip leader (photo package coming shortly, so be on the lookout).
Andrew Kelssal sits with about 425,000 at his disposal, which puts him out in front of Natale Kuey for the overall chip lead at this late stage in the night.
Kelsall is a longtime tournament grinder with a long record of cashes both big and small to his credit, so armed with a chip lead he should be worth watching as we move forward.
Heartland Poker Tour winner and World Series of Poker final tablist James Carroll also holds about 350,000, good for one of the largest stacks out there as Day 1 rolls on.
