So You're Saying There's a Chance?

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

We heard a round of cheers break out a few tables over and took a look to find that a one-out miracle had arrived on the river.

Frank Petroccitto held the {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} when the flop came down {6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to give him a set. Unfortunately for Petroccitto, his opponent spiked a set of his own with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} when the turn came {8-Hearts}.

The chips were all in the middle when fifth street rained down, and that is when the cheering began in earnest.

River: {6-Hearts}

With only one saving grace left in the entire deck, the case six somehow showed its face, giving Petroccitto quads and earning him a huge pot in the process.

Event 21 of the Borgata Winter Poker Open is set to start at 11 a.m. local time, and the $230 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry tournament boasts a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The series' first $100,000 guaranteed tournament was Event 5, and the tournament managed to build a $286,300 prize pool -the lion's share of which was won by Walter White lookalike Cotton Snuffer. We expect today's assurance to be met quite easily, especially with so many players sticking around after busting the WPT Main Event. There are several big name pros who failed to survive the Main Event, and with blizzard-like conditions creating a travel mess outdoors, many of the game's top players may still be on hand.

Amanda Musumeci is expected to be on hand, looking to close out a successful series - in which she registered a runner-up finish and two other deep runs - while also crossing the $1 million mark in live career earnings.

As has been the case throughout the 2014 Borgata Winter Poker Open, PokerNews will be on hand to provide coverage throughout the day, so check back regularly to see who will take down the next five-figure score of the series. Check back here for chip count updates, information on entries and prize pool amounts, and a continuous rundown of top pros who head over after busting the Main Event to blow off some steam.
