Anthony's Ace is Good
In one of the last hands before break, the rare four-way pot was played, building one of the biggest pots to be contested here at the ten-handed final table.
Bryan Choi opened for 130,000 from under the gun and found no less than three callers, as Anthony Maio (UTG+1), David Paredes (late position) and Jared Jaffee (big blind) all came along to take the flop.
The dealer delivered the and despite the preflop action, all four players tapped the table to see the fall on the turn. The table checked over to Maio and he bet 155,000 to test the waters, and the action folded around to Jaffee, who raised it up to 480,000. Maio stared his man down and thought things over before smooth calling, and the completed the board on the river.
Jaffee checked to Maio and he did the same, with Jaffee announcing "you're ace is good."
Sure enough, Maio tabled the and his ace was indeed good enough to take the huge pot down.
