Siegel Swims with the Sharks
Eric Siegel already has one final table under his belt during this BFPO series. On Saturday (well, early Sunday morning) he made the final table of Event #6: $400 Saturday Series Deepstack NLH, finishing 5th out of 506 entrants for $9,620. That score pushed his reported tournament earnings beyond $955,000.
During the 2016 Summer Poker Open, he was part of a deal that ended the $450 Almighty Stack NLH event, taking 2nd place and $53,807, so he's got proven results in this super-deep tournament format as well.
Siegel's got a total of four Borgata titles and is a regular on the felt, but not a full-time pro. Nevertheless, he can hang with the best of them, as evidenced by his results over the years. He has his own swimming pool company, which gives him plenty of time to play in the off-season.
