The second day of Event #11: $400 Almighty Stack has now come to an end after the field played down to the final 18. Leading the way is WSOP bracelet winner Joey Couden who is bringing a monstrous chip lead to the final day.

Couden started the day with just under a million in chips, instantly he started to run up a stack and by nights end he accumulated an immense 23,430,000. Couden has over $2.2 million in live career earnings and is surely a large favorite to take down the title tomorrow, which would add a second Borgata trophy to his already stacked resume.

Rounding out the top five are Adam Phillips (17,275,000), Arian Stolt (16,015,000), Dejan Bozovic (9,985,000), and Peter Walsworth (9,150,000). All will have their work cut out for them as they try to overtake the large lead that Couden has headed into the final day of the event.

The second day ended on level 31 with 8:06 showing on the clock, and that is what will be set tomorrow at noon when the players return. The blind levels will remain at 45-minutes in length until the final table is set, where they will be bumped up to 60-minutes. There will be a 15-minute break after every three levels of play and the tournament will not end until a champion is crowned, taking home the $105,208 first-place cash prize, along with a prestigious Borgata trophy.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be covering this event until complete, so tune in tomorrow when all the action unfolds.
