Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Carlos Guerrero
Carlos Guerrero

Carlos Guerro put his last 11,000 into the middle from the button, Chris Caruso called in the small blind and Joe McKeehen jumped in as well from the big.

The dealer fanned out {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, action checked to McKeehen who bet and Caruso instantly folded as the remaining two tabled their hands.

Carlos Guerrero: {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Joe McKeehen: {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

A {3-Hearts} turn and {9-Spades} river did not improve Guerrero's hand as he was eliminated by the flopped queen of McKeehen.

McKeehen Starts to Climb Early Through Guerrero

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop showed {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and there was around 29,000 in the pot. Joe McKeehen checked to Carlos Guerrero, he bet 11,000 and McKeehen check-called to the {k-Clubs} turn card.

Again McKeehen checked to Guerrero who bet 35,000 and McKeehen called. An {a-Hearts} completed the board, both players checked and McKeehen tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, giving him three dimes and Guerrero mucked.
