Ilya Vasserman called a river bet with his on a board with two queens and three spades. "Flush?" he asked his opponent. Sure enough, the other player produced for the nut flush to take the pot. Vasserman was left with only about 20,000.
On the turn with a board of Eric Rivera moved in from the small blind and his opponent in Seat 2 (cutoff) gave it some thought, then folded. Rivera chipped back up to ~100,000.
This is Rivera's first tournament since he spent two months in Las Vegas this summer, so he's ready to rock. He's calling his shot, "guaranteeing the final table".
