Three "One and Done" Tournaments During Break

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Michael Vela
Michael Vela

One of the best break-time activities here at Borgata are the "One and Done" single table, single hand tournaments. Ten players each put up $360, one hand is dealt, and the best hand gets $3,500 in cash not coincidentally the amount needed to buy in to the Championship event.

During the previous break, three of these were done.

Michael Vela won the first on a board of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} with his {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for the full house.

Noemi Saleh won the second on a board of {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. She was the last player to expose her hand, no one had an eight, and she had {k-Spades}{5-Spades} for kings-up.

The third time around the board read {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Uri Kadosh had {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for kings-full to take the $3,500. Interestingly, Will Failla had a side bet with another player which he won with his {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.
