Morton Gets Called

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Paul Snead raised to 13,000 from under the gun and action folded to Michael Morton in the hijack who three-bet to 53,000. The rest of the table folded and Snead called.

They both checked through the {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} to the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Snead check-called the 20,000 bet of Morton.

The river completed the board with the {7-Diamonds} and Snead checked for the last time. Morton now fired a bet of 63,000 over the line which sent Snead into the tank. After a while, Snead cut out calling chips, took a few more seconds, and then made the call. Morton tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for the full house and that was enough to scoop the pot as Snead mucked his hand.

Muscarella Doubles Twice

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

First, Alex Muscarella doubled up from the late position for 73,000 with {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} against the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} of Grigoriy Shvarts in the cutoff when the board ran out {8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} for Muscarella to hit the flop for the pair of eights and improve to two pair on the river.

The hand after, Milliard Hale raised to 15,000 from the early position and Muscarella shoved for 161,000 in the middle position. Action folded back to Hale who cut out calling chips, took some time, used a time extension, and then made the call.

Alex Muscarella: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Milliard Hale: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} for Musacarella to hold with the pair of queens to double up again.

Sewnig Takes Reynolds Out

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ari Engel raised to 12,000 from the early position and Daniel Sewnig shoved from the hijack for 166,000. Thomas Reynolds contemplated for a while on the button and then made the call for 115,000 or so. The blinds folded and so did Engel.

Thomas Reynolds: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Daniel Sewnig: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades} for Sewnig to hot the river for a full house to eliminate Reynolds.

At the same time, Jesse Bane and Viet Nguyen were eliminated on the other tables.

This means the field is down to 171 players and Table 20 has been broken up to balance out the other tables.

The Action Clock is now in play.
