Tetsoshvili Comes From Behind to Eliminate Pickell

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Lisa Pickell
Lisa Pickell

Lisa Pickell was all in with the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} which was ahead of the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} of Raymond Tetsoshvili.

But the flop came {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} to put Pickell on the brink of elimination. The turn was the {10-Spades} and the river the {4-Hearts} to send her away as Tetsoshvili celebrated collecting his first bounty which he immediately went to go draw before even stacking his new chips.

Kachittavong Cracks Queens to Bust Daily on Money Bubble

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Soukha Kachittavong

On the stone money bubble, Day 1b chip leader Soukha Kachittavong opened to 28,000 from under the gun and Zachary Daily three-bet to 58,000 in the small blind. Kachittavong called.

Daily bet 60,000 on the flop of {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Kachittavong called. Daily then moved all in for around 110,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn and Kachittavong called.

Zachary Daily: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Soukha Kachittavong: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Before the cards were flipped, Daily asked his opponent if he had a six. Kachittavong said yes and asked "queens," to which Daily replied with a glum "yep."

"You still have outs," Kachittavong. "A queen could come. Do you have the queen of clubs?"

"Nope," Daily replied after checking his cards.

The {10-Diamonds} then bricked off on the river and a visibly flustered Daily hit the rail as the floor announced that the remaining players had reached the money.

From the next table over, Nick Palma lamented that the money bubble had burst so quickly.

"Y'all are lucky!" Palma told his table mates. "I was about to run a clinic on y'all during that bubble!"

"Fake-Out" Does Wonders for Pappano

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jeremy Pappano was all in for 339,000 against a shorter-stacked opponent and another who had him covered.

Opponent 1: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Jeremy Pappano: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent 2: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

"I guess I'm behind," the player with eights said glumly.

The flop of {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} was no help to Pappano and he stood from his seat in anticipation of busting out. Right on time, the dealer then put down the {k-Spades} to give him the lead and nothing changed on the {7-Hearts} turn to win him the huge pot and send one opponent to the rail.

"The fake-out did it!" a table mate said before giving Pappano a fist-bump.

Odle Uses Kings to Take Heaps From Big Stack

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christopher Odle raised to 20,000 from the hijack, The cutoff called. Constantine Bogiatzis three-bet to about 80,000 from the small blind. Odle thought a few moments when it was back on him before announcing all in. The cutoff quickly folded and Bogiatzis called.

Odle had the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} while Bogiatzis was trailing with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} in the massive pot, likely one of the largest of the tournament this far.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river was the {2-Clubs} with neither player holding a club and Odle gained the huge pot of over 800,000 to move himself toward the top of the counts, while Bogiatzis was knocked down.
