Seiji Shows the Goods; Serrano Gets Paid by Madeira
Rodrigo Seiji and William Fernandes built a pot of around 400,000 as they went heads-up to the 8?J?9? flop.
Seiji then bet 125,000 from the small blind and Fernandes called in the hijack. The turn was the 10? and Seiji bet 500,000. Fernandes used a time bank until eventually sliding his cards into the muck, as well as his rabbit hunt card.
Seiji showed Q?Q? for a straight as the dealer exposed the Q? river that put a straight on the board.
At another table, Diego Serrano raised to 50,000 under the gun and Carlos Madeira called in the big blind.
Both players checked the A?5?3? flop and Madeira led out for 100,000 on the 6? turn. Serrano called and the K? fell on the river.
Madeira checked over to Serrano who bet 200,000. Madeira used a few time banks before calling as Serrano showed A?Q?. Madeira flashed the A? as he mucked.
