About 50,000 was in the middle on a flop of 9?8?5? when Thomas Shipp in the big blind and Roger Franco in middle position exchanged bets and raises until Franco's final 75,000 or so was at risk.
Roger Franco: K?K?7?3?
Thomas Shipp: Q?Q?J?10?
Shipp's queen-high straight left Franco needing a spade on the river, but the 5? fell instead, felting Franco and shipping the pot to Shipp.
meanwhile, Steven McKuin has just eliminated Ken Han, leaving the players one elimination away from the two-table redraw.
On a four-way flop of 9?5?3?, Danylo Turov and Roger Franco checked the blinds to Steven McKuin who bet 32,000 under the gun.
Kyle Arora called on the button before Turov check-potted it to 205,000. Franco and McKuin quickly folded, but Arora took a bit of time as a call would essentially commit his stack.
After a bit of thought, he opted to fold, sending the sizeable pot to Turov.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Chang was just eliminated at the far table in the room.
WSOP bracelet winner Joseph Dulaney, a.k.a. "Fireman Scott" was all in on the turn for just under 140,000 on a board of A?K?8?7?. He was called by Liam McDonough to his immediate left.
Joseph Dulaney: Q?10?9?8?
Liam McDonough: A?K?J?9?
The 5? fell on the river as Dulaney missed his multitude of draws, leaving himself with just a pair of eights, while McDonough's aces and kings earned him the pot.
