Yen Flopped Set Scores Double Knockout; Crippled Bomer Exits Soon After
With Charles Dawson already all in preflop, Jerry Yen, Youn Noh, and Rory Bomer all went to a flop of 6?3?8?.
Noh then led-jammed all in for a little over 100,000 and Bomer called, but then Yen shoved over the top for more, putting the pressure on Bomer.
"Of course, he just has it here..." Bomer began a long monologue with himself as he talked through the hand. "Maybe he has diamonds and we're purely flipping... Ugh, such a weird spot to be in... I wish I had less, then this would be much easier!"
After nearly two minutes of this, he finally set out his remaining 120,000 and the four hands were on their backs.
Charles Dawson: 9?9?
Youn Noh: 10?10?
Jerry Yen: 3?3?
Rory Bomer: J?J?
Yen was way in the lead with his set of threes, and the turn improved him to a full house, followed by a brick A? on the river to seal his victory. He was then pushed the massive pot worth over 700,000 while Dawson and Noh exited and Bomer was left on life support.
Bomer was left with less than a blind and did manage to spin it up by doubling a few hands in a row, but eventually ran king-ten into aces and was sent to the rail.
