Josh Saltz opened the action with a raise to 1,300 in early position and saw action fold around to Salim Wahdan, who was on the button and called. Steven Rule called in the small blind as well, as did Michael Giardina in the big blind.
All four players checked to 
, where action checked to Wahdan and he bet 2,600. Rule folded and then Giardina announced a call. Saltz called behind as well, taking action three handed to the river 
where another bet was not put in before the hand went to showdown.
First to act, Giardina tabled 
for trip threes and neither player could top it, earning him the pot after his pair of opponents mucked.
