Gonzales had called to put Opila at risk but his deuces were significantly behind Opila's eights. Things remained that way as the board ran out and Opila earned the double at Gonzales' expense.
Action folded around to Thomas Heine, who was on the button and opened to 12,500. Jon Cohen three-bet to 32,500 from the small blind and Heine confirmed the amount before calling.
The flop came and Cohen threw out a continuation-bet of 21,000. Heine quickly folded and Cohen took down the pot.
Anthony Martinez was in early position and opened to 10,500. Erik Macias called from middle position and action folded around to Mansour Alipourfard, who called from the big blind. The three players saw a flop of and Alipourfard checked. Martinez fired a continuation-bet of 20,000 into the middle, putting action on Macias, who put forward a stack of red T5,000 chips that totaled at least 75,000.
Alipourfard folded and Martinez folded behind, resulting in the pot being sent Macias' way.
Mansour Alipourfard raised to 12,500 from under the gun and saw action fold around to Jon Cohen, who defended his big blind. The flop came and Cohen check-called a continuation-bet of 16,000 from Alipourfard.

Dixon had turned top two pair but found himself up against Alipourfard's flopped set and in need of hitting another king or queen to win the pot. The river came and Alipourfard secured the double, leaving Dixon with just 8,500 in chips.
On the following hand, Matt Livingston raised to 9,000 from early position. Dixon called off his last 8,500 from the cutoff and Alipourfard called from the big blind. With 1,000 in the side pot, both players checked to the river on a board of .

Dixon had flopped top pair, top kicker with the hopes of tripling and finding a little bit of life for the time being. Unfortunately for him, those hopes were dashed when Livingston improved to a pair of kings on the river, sending Dixon home in ninth place.
