Kim Shows the Bluff
David Kim opened to 1,350 from early position and received a call from the player on his left in middle position. The two went heads up to a flop of and Kim fired a continuation-bet of 1,600. His opponent called.
The turn fell and Kim checked. His opponent bet 2,050 and Kim check-raised to 6,500. His opponent thought for a few seconds and put in chips to call.
The river came and Kim put out another bet of 12,000, around half of his opponent's remaining stack. The player in middle position went into the tank for close to two minutes, looking back at his cards a couple times before reluctantly folding as if he wanted to show the laydown he was making.
Kim then checked his own cards and proceeded to table for nothing more than jack high as the dealer sent the pot his way.
