Tinkle Trickles To Zero
Andy Tinkle had seen his stack steadily decline throughout the first two hours of the afternoon, having spent most of the last half hour with around 5,000 in chips. He eventually found himself down to just 900 and went all in from early position over an under-the-gun limp.
Action folded to Greg Geller, who was in the big blind, and confirmed the amount before calling. The limper from under the gun came along as well and the dealer announced that any future action between the two remaining players would be for a side pot.
The flop came and both players checked. Geller bet 2,000 on the turn and received a call. He then fired another 9,000 on the river and his opponent folded.
"You've got me," said Tinkle as he tabled for rivered trips on a four-flush board.
Geller did, in fact, have him as he tabled for a flopped flush and collected both pots.
