Hedlund Takes Out Hurri
Peter Hedlund is one of the most successful players still in the field with more than $1.1 million in career cashes. Jari Hurri and Hedlund were chatting it up for the past two hours but that time has come to an end.
Hedlund, who didn't look at his cards, completed the blinds from the small blind and Hurri checked behind from the big blind.
Hedlund checked after the came on the flop. Hurri bet 5,000 and Hedlund, who by this time looked at his cards, shoved all his chips in the middle in a disorganized fashion and Hurri called for the about 125,000 left in his stack.
It was a bit of a cooler for Hurri as he held and was well behind the held by Hedlund. Hurri was officially eliminated after the came on the turn and the came on the river.
Hedlund seemed sincere when he apologized to Hurri for taking him out of the tournament as the two of them appeared to develop a new found friendship at the Coolbet Open.
