After two busy opening days at the Chesterfield Poker Club inside the Nordic Hotel Forum in Tallinn, the seventh edition of the Coolbet Open Main Event has attracted a field of 464 entries so far. Nine levels each were completed and 191 players advanced to Day 2, which is set to kick off at noon local time.

The prize pool of the 2024 Coolbet Open Tallinn €550 Main Event has already surpassed €200k and the final figures are still subject for change, as the late registration and re-entry period remains open for the first level of the penultimate tournament day.

Players from Norway, Estonia and Iceland have dominated at the tables thus far and Hans Winther leads the way with a stack of 266,300, followed by Karl-Julius Kalmus (242,300) and Stein Pedersen (241,800).

All players in the overnight top ten have more than 100 big blinds at their disposal when the action in level ten resumes at blinds of 800-1,600 and a big blind ante of 1,600. Among them is also one of the six former Main Event champions of this live poker series, as Estonian player Ott-Kaarli Toome advanced with 203,900 in pursuit of a potential second title.

The field size so far has already surpassed the attendance of the first-ever Coolbet Open Main Event here in Tallinn and there is certainly a chance to surpass 500 entries with several notables unable to bag up chips in the two opening days.
