Javier Romero
Javier Romero

A player in the hijack opened to 700 only for a player in the cutoff to three-bet to 2,500. Marian Dicu called in the small blind, Javier Romero called in the big blind and the original raiser called as well.

All four players checked the 9?5?3? flop leading to the J? turn. Dicu bet 2,500 and received calls from Romero and the hijack while the cutoff folded.

The three remaining players checked the A? river. Dicu was the first to turn over 8?7? for a missed straight draw. After a moment, Romero mentioned that he had a three, turning over 4?3? for bottom pair. The hijack mucked and Romero took down a sizable pot.

Walid Igalla
Walid Igalla

Walid Igalla opened to 3,500 from under the gun and was called by Adrian Lipe on the button.

The flop came 7?5?3?. Igalla checked, Lipe bet 6,000, Igalla raised to 15,500 and Lipe moved all in, covering Igalla who had just over 50,000 behind. Igalla went briefly into the tank and after about 90 seconds of consideration made the call to put himself at risk.

Walid Igalla: Q?Q?
Adrian Lipe: 8?8?

Both players had flopped an overpair with a flush draw but Igalla was ahead in both respects. Lipe could not catch an eight on the 7? turn or 5? river and Igalla secured a full double up at his expense.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Adrian Lipe
Adrian Lipe

With two players seeing a board of Q?7?Q?5? and roughly 30,000 already in the middle, Adrian Lipe was on the button and had gotten into a raising war with Javier Romero in the hijack, resulting in Lipe being all in and at risk for his remaining stack of roughly 50,000.

Adrian Lipe: Q?9?
Javier Romero: 7?7?

In a brutal cooler Lipe had flopped trip queens only for Romero to flop a full house. Lipe couldn't catch up on the 3? river and was sent to the rail while Romero continued to accumulate chips.

Javier Romero

Dario Bagattini opened to 6,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Walid Igalla on the button before a player in the small blind three-bet to 32,500. Javier Romero then four-bet to 88,000, forcing Bagattini and Igalla out of the pot. The small blind moved all in for slightly more and Romero snap-called with a covering stack.

Small Blind: K?K?

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Walid Igalla
Walid Igalla

Dario Bagattini opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and Walid Igalla moved all in for just under 80,000. After confirming his opponent's chip count Bagattini made the call with a covering stack to put Igalla at risk.

Walid Igalla: 10?10?
Dario Bagattini: A?J?

Bagattini pulled ahead with a pair of jacks on the Q?J?7? flop but the 9? turn gave Igalla some outs in the form of a straight draw. The 4? river was a brick and Igalla made his exit from the tournament area while Bagattini collected the last of his chips.

Meanwhile at the other table, Jonatan Caluino and Ruben Vara were recently eliminated.
