Moises Parrilla Ramos opened for 1,500 from the cutoff, Johnny Lodden flat-called on the button, and Nabil Bennour put on the squeeze, moving all in from the small blind for 8,750. Ramos got out of the way and Lodden considered for several minutes before making the call.

It was a race situation, Lodden's {K-Spades} {J-Hearts} up against Bennour's {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}.

The {K-Clubs} appeared in the door as the flop came down {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}, making Lodden two pair but giving Bennour an open-ended straight draw. The {J-Clubs} on the turn though, boated up Lodden and left Bennour drawing dead. The meaningless {5-Diamonds} arrived on the river and Bennour made a gracious exit, shaking Lodden's hand on his way out the door.

After losing half his stack on an earlier hand, Lodden is looking a bit healthier now, with 26,000 in chips.
