Makhija Dominated But Doubles

Alexander Morozov had recently folded to a few three-bet raises pre-flop, so after his 14,000 chip was once again raised all in by Amit Makhija, he felt like he needed to make a stand.

"I had this hand last time and I folded, but this time I think I should call," pondered Morozov. The bet was 89,000 in total and eventually Morozov went with his read and made the call, flipping {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Makhija showed {A-Spades}{8-Hearts} and was in trouble.

However the flop came {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Makhija made a miraculous two pair to out-flop Morozov. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and river {9-Hearts}, and Morozov took an ugly hit as Makhija doubled to close to 200,000 in chips.
