Doing Gud So Far

Martin Gudvangen raises to 190,000 and Nikolai Senninger calls; it's just the two of them to the {7-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} flop.

Gudvangen looks at it for a moment before betting out 320,000. Senninge also stares at the flop for a while and appears to be dozing off. He sleepily threads 25,000-denomination chips, giving us hope of action -- but he eventually folds, and Gudvangen takes the pot.

Cullen Reraised Again

Darren Cullen raises to 190,000 and Rui Milhomens reraises all-in for 1,810,000 to put a lot of pressure on the Englishman. Cullen shakes his head and folds, he's taken a few hits early on here.

Eastgate Takes Another

Aaron Gustavson min-raises to 120,000 and Peter Eastgate calls.

{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Gustavson bets 170,000 but Eastgate raises to 590,000. A moment of dwelling from Gustavson with the merest hint of a slight gurn, but he folds.

Gudvangen Wins A 1.5 Million Pot

Martin Gudvangen raised preflop and Aaron Gustavson defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the {J-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {8-Clubs} flop before Gudvangen fired 165,000 on the {5-Spades} and the chip leader called. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Gustavson checked a third time, Gudvangen betting 415,000 and Gustavson called again.

The Norwegian showed {Q-?} {5-?} and his two pair was good.

Big Stack Gets Bigger

Aaron Gustavson min-raises to 120,000 and Rui Milhomens calls; they go heads up to a {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} flop, which they both check.

Gustavson bets out 160,000 on the {8-Spades} turn and Milhomens disappears into the tank for a while, his eyes rolling all over the shop as he considers his options, but eventually gives it up.

Gustavson up to 7.4 million, well over a third of the chips in play.
