Darcourt was looking to hold his aces to survive, but he'd need to fade the diamonds in the deck as well as any potentially perilous runner-runner combinations. The on the turn was safe for him, and the on the end was no danger either. That secures Darcourt's double up; he's sitting with just about 200,000 now after that big pot.
