Table De-Mel-ition
The double up came when he raised with only for Adam Markovits to make it 27,500. After a moment's thought, de Mel called and saw a flop. Markovits bet out 30,000 and de Mel, with only around 60,000 left to his name, went all in. Markovits called with pocket jacks, failed to improve on the turn or river, and de Mel doubled up.
A few hands later and Henrik Sorensen raised to 12,500 under the gun. De Mel found aces in the big blind and made it 30,000; Sorensen called. De Mel bet out 35,000 on the flop - and Sorensen's ace-dar must be good, as he folded pocket queens face up.
De Mel is up to 230,000.
