The dealer half-apologized, and Minieri added, "It's very important. If you have to announce the bet amount..." He was trailing off, but it appeared that the dealer understood. Minieri shouldn't have too much reason to complain; he's on about 54,000 after that pot.

After a bit of hesitation, Bauer grabbed enough chips to cover his opponent and flung them into the middle. Before they even hit the felt, Romanello said, "I call," committing his final 11,550 chips to the pot.
