Alexander Debus Eliminated in 9th Place (85,870 PLN)

Alexander Debus - 9th Place
Alexander Debus - 9th Place
Alexander Debus moved all in from the hijack seat for 178,000. Member of Team PokerStars PRO Italy Luca Pagano was in the cutoff seat next in line. He checked his hole cards and then verified the count with the dealer. Once that was done, he looked to his left and checked the stacks behind him.

"I'm all in." he declared.

The button and blinds all folded and Pagano tabled {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. Debus would need some help if he were to double up holding {A-Spades} {6-Spades}.

The flop was dealt first, {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts}. Debus paired his six, but needed to find another one or pair his ace on one of the next two cards.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and gave a little scare to Luca as it somewhat resembled a six.

The river was the {4-Clubs}, but no help to Debus. Pagano raised both hands in the air triumphantly, sending Debus home in 9th place and ending play for the day.
