Romanello Cannot Believe That Hand Actually Played
Level 21
: 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
We just witnessed a hilarious incident, when Josh Prager open-shoved from the button for 400,000. In the small blind, Roberto Romanello just couldn't believe it.
Prager attempted to justify his actions: "You're a good player, I don;t want to play you after the flop. I'm very good preflop."
Romanello still refused to believe what had just happened. "Was that hand real?" he asked. "I thought you were joking. Surely it was a misdeal and you were just messing. Did that hand actually play?" He spent long enough musing on the strangeness of it all that he forgot to play his next hand, and Jan Bendik eventually called the clock on him. He folded that one too.
