Table Talk

We walked up too late to see the hand in question, but the table talk was still going full tilt. From what we could gather, Kevin MacPhee had open-raised, and he smooth called a three-bet behind him. His opponent out-flopped him with ten-deuce, but MacPhee managed to lose a fairly small portion of his stack considering. Cue the chatter.

Kevin MacPhee was the one doing the talking when we approached. "Well, when you smash every flop, it's easy to play every hand!"

"You had queens?" someone asked him.

"Not queens," said MacPhee with vague roll of the eyes. "Better than that."

"Why didn't you reraise him then?" the player followed up.

"Why reraise if he's squeezing with ten-deuce?! Let him keep on betting. He's not going to smash everything. Oh, wait..."

MacPhee is having a laugh at his own expense, but it appears he is actually getting a tad frustrated. He's okay on chips though, sitting with 32,000 as his half of the field prepares to head off to dinner.
