Renkemeier Even Further Ahead

Dori Yacoub raised preflop to 48,000 and Tobias Renkemeier made the call from the blinds.

The flop was {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and Renkemeier check-called a bet of 80,000.

On the {7-Clubs} turn, Renkemeier checked again and Yacoub fired 142,000 this time. Once more the German made the call leading to a {K-Clubs} river.

Renkemeier rapped the table a third time, and Yacoub unleashed another barrel, betting 230,000 this time.

Renkemeier stated that he thought Yacoub was bluffing and made the call.

Yacoub, "Good call," and he showed {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}. Renkemeier moved up to 2.9 million in chips as he showed {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} for the pot.

Reinkemeier Crushing

A preflop raise from Tobias Reinkemeier was called by Olivier Busquet, and the two men saw a heads-up flop of {5-Clubs} {6-Spades} {J-Hearts}. Reinkemeier took a bit of an odd line and check-called a bet of 75,000 from Busquet.

Fourth street came the {8-Spades}, and both players checked to see the {10-Hearts} on the river. Reinkemeier reached for chips now, and he slid out a bet of 187,000. That was good enough; Busquet surrendered, and Tobias bolsters his chip lead.

T.R. - 2.39 million

Tobias Reinkemeier - 2,232,000
Dori Yacoub - 1,257,000
Tom Marchese - 1,144,000
Olivier Busquet - 835,000

Sorrel Mizzi Eliminated in 6th Place (€143,400)

Sorrel Mizzi - 6th
Sorrel Mizzi - 6th
Tobias Renkemeier raised once more to 45,000 and Sorrel Mizzi reraised all-in for 339,000. Renkemeier got a count and then made the call.

Renkemeier: {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}
Mizzi: {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds}

The flop was {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} which changed nothing as Mizzi asked for the {5-Diamonds} on the turn.

"Queen of spades," requested Renkemeier and the German got what he wanted as the {Q-Spades} came on the turn. Mizzi could only chop the pot at best but the {J-Diamonds} meant instead the Canadian would be walking out in 6th place.

Table Talk

Tom Marchese: "Breakfast is the worst here."
Someone else: "The buffet?"
Tom Marchese: "Yeah. It's the worst. I've been eating, like, bacon and Rice Krispies treats all week."

....Mmmm, Bacon Krispies treats.

Another Split Pot

First in from the cutoff seat, Tom Marchese opened to 47,000. Tobias Reinkemeier made the call from the button, and the two men went off to the flop heads-up.

The dealer spread out {4-Spades} {7-Spades} {4-Clubs}, and Marchese continued out with a bet of 65,000. Reinkemeier gave him a sideways look and slid in the call, and the {K-Diamonds} landed on fourth street. Both players checked there, and they did the same when the {Q-Clubs} filled out the board.

Marchese: {A-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Reinkemeier: {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

Chop chop. Onward to the next hand.
