Luis Rufas Extends His Chip Lead
Luis Rufas finished in 41st place at this event last year. This year he has his eyes firmly set on a higher finish and at the moment he can do no wrong.
We caught up with him as he took 8,800 from EPT Vilamoura winner Toby Lewis after Lewis folded to a Rufas raise on a flop we didn't quite catch. Then while he was still counting his chips up he nonchalantly looked at his cards and threw 1,425 in for a raise. A player a few seat to his left pushed all-in for 11,275 and after a little think Rufas reluctantly made the call.
Rufas:
All-in Dude:
The board ran out and Rufas added the 11,275 to the stack he was still trying hard to stack up after his last win.
