The shorter stacks are wasting no time getting their chips in, and one of the folks who will not be progressing any further in this tournament is Scott Montgomery, who finalled the WSOP the same year that Ivan Demidov did.

Montgomery found himself very short early on but managed to double up with pocket kings against Igor Ivashkiv's {a-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} - Ivashkiv hit both an ace and a ten, but Montgomery rivered a king to stay in the game.

However, just a hand or two later and Montgomery got it in again with {a-} {7-} . This time he was well behind Artem Litvinov's pocket nines, and after failing to spike, Montgomery hit the rail.
