The tables haven't been turned, exactly, but they have been evened out as Michael Eiler gets it in preflop against Martin Hruby, who possibly wanted to finish the heads up nice and early but may now be in for a longer night...
Eiler:
Hruby:
The all-in Eiler flopped big: and although the turn - - left a mini sweat in the form of a possible low straight for Hruby, it didn't arrive on the river and Eiler doubles through.
Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby has been giving Michael Eiler a taste of his own medicine in the past few hands. He has been raising and forcing the young German to fold including Hruby's first all-in of the Heads Up match up.
Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby is having a little bit of difficulty against Michael Eilers aggressive play during this heads up encounter. Eiler keeps raising out of the Small Blind causing Hruby to fold. The one time Hruby did three-bet he made it the minimum and Eiler shoved causing Hruby to again fold.
Martin Hruby won two in a row, simply moving all in with a stack which doubly covers his opponent when Eiler raised to 450k on the button, and then picking up his big blind for good measure. But then he found himself out of position calling the 475k Eiler bet on the button to see a flop of . In fact, he probably didn't want to see this flop all that much, but bet it anyway - 310k. Over to button Eiler, who thought for a moment only before pushing forward a raise to 1,050,000. Hruby passed and they're pretty much exactly where they were chip-wise ten minutes ago.
Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby opens to 500,000 and Michael Eiler raises all-in and Hruby folds.
Hand 2
Eiler opens for 450,000 and Hruby calls. The flop is and the action is checked around to the turn which is a . Hruby bets 335,000 and Eiler calls. The river is and they both check.
Still in a world of trouble in comparison to his two remaining opponents, Konstantinos Nanos was prepared to gamble for a stack of multiple millions rather than hang on with under two. When Eiler folded, Martin Hruby simply plonked 2.2 million down as a raise, setting Nanos all-in. He took very little time to decide to call all-in with but his reaction to seeing Hruby's hand said it all.
It sounded a lot like he said, "Sh*t! You got me dominated!" and indeed he was - Hruby showed . It looked bleak for the Greek player as the flop came down , and the longshot potential of the turn wasn't realised by the river. Nanos was smiling broadly, however, as he shook hands with the final two players and made his exit.
You are down to the final three of the EPT Vienna. You are on the Button with only four and a half big blinds left. You are going to shove with any two cards. You look down and see...Pocket Kings!
Konstantinos Nanos shoves all-in and Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby calls in the Big Blind.
A strange hand knocked Konstantinos Nanos even further down, to under 1.5 million chips, giving another peak to leader Martin Hruby's chip mountain. Nanos raised on the button preflop, to 495k, and Hruby called. The flop was . Check to the raiser, who bet 650k, which Hruby called. Both players checked the turn, and Hruby led out for just 745k on the river. Nanos muttered something like, "Set of Kings?" but made the call reluctantly.
Hruby showed which had been a flush draw on the flop, but ended up as a pot-winning full house.
