Eiler Takes the Chip Lead From the Feature Table

The new chip leader on the feature table

Michael Eiler has just taken over the chip lead on the feature table in an intriguing head to head confrontation with Team Pokerstars Pro Daniel Negreanu.

Luca Cainelli started it all off with a raise of 120,000. Negreanu called on the Button and Eiler made the numbers up from the Big Blind. There were three of them going to the flop with 400,000 up for grabs. The flop was {a-Spades} {3-Clubs} {7-Spades} and everyone checked. The turn was {j-Hearts} and Eiler bet 220,000 and Cainelli folded. Negreanu put his hand on his chin and made the call. There was 840,000 going to the river and it was the {q-Hearts} . Eiler now bet 547,000 to put Negreanu under pressure.

After a lot of dialogue from Negreanu he made the call and Eiler showed the nuts with {k-Spades} {10-Spades} and Negreanu mucked. Eiler takes over the chip lead.
