More for Maisto

Giacomo Maisto min-raised under the gun and Cristian Dragomir on the button politely asked him how much he had behind - the answer was roughly 2.6 million. Dragomir thanked him, and then reraised to 275,000. Call.

Both players checked the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop and proceeded directly to the {4-Diamonds} turn. Maisto now bet out 375,000, and it was enough to push Dragomir off the pot with a table tap and an admission of, "Nice hand."

Dragomir Doubles Through Maisto

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Cristian Dragomir opened to 100,000 preflop with about 1 million behind, Giacomo Maisto flat-called from the big blind to see a {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

The Italian checked and Dragomir continued with a bet of 115,000, "All-in!" gestured Maisto and the Romanian quickly called.

Dragomir: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Maisto: {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Vandersmissen Approaching 6m Chips

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kevin Vandersmissen
Kevin Vandersmissen

Kevin Vandersmissen and Cristian Dragomir just clashed in a pot worth almost 500,000 chips.

Vandersmissen made it 100,000 to play from the cutoff and the action folded to Dragomir in the big blind. He checked his cards, then checked them again and actually shaped to bet before opting to flat call.

Flop:{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} - Dragomir checked and then called a 120,000 bet from Vandersmissen.

Turn:{9-Diamonds} - Dragomir check and then Vandersmissen asked "How many you got back?" and when the answer was 1,250,000 he quickly bet 260,000, which was enough to win the pot.

Dragomir drops to 1,250,000 whilst the Vandersmissen steam train continues its climb up the leader board. He is now approaching 6,000,000!

'Bein Doesn't Believe In Playing Tight

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Vladimir Geshkenbein has shown throughout this tournament that he is not scared of splashing around in pots and this final table has been no different as he has just played the last three consecutive hands.

In the first hand he raised to 110,000 on the button but did not bank on Koen De Visscher coming over the top with a raise to 255,000. Geshkenbein then counted his own stack before asking how many chips De Visscher had, which turned out to be 1,450,000. Geshkenbein then commented on the fact De Visscher had not made many three-bets so far today and then folded, asking De Visscher to show, but he declined.

The next hand Giacomo Maisto raised to 105,000, Geshkenbein made it 250,000 to play and when the action folded back to Maisto he put in a further raise, this one to 605,000, which saw the aggressive Russian instantly fold.

Finally, on the next hand he raised to 110,000 and picked up the blinds and antes.

Chips Head Back to Vandersmissen

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Koen De Visscher min-raised under the gun and both Kevin Vandersmissen in the cutoff and Cristian Dragomir in the big blind made the call.

They saw an {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop and it checked around to Vandersmissen, who bet 175,000. Dragomir called, original raiser De Visscher decided against and folded, and they went heads up to the turn.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds} turn and Dragomir checked again on the {q-Hearts} river before calling a 260,000 bet from Vandersmissen. Vandersmissen revealed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for queens full of kings, and Dragomir mucked, dropping to 1.5 million in the process. Vandersmissen recovered almost all of the chips he lost to Geshkenbein the hand before, and is back up to roughly 5.4 million.

Ship It to Geshkenbein

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Kevin Vandersmissen min-raised to 100,000 from the button and Vladimir Geshkenbein called in the big blind to see a {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop. Geshkenbein checked and Vandersmissen bet 110,000, but Geshkenbein now check-raised to 260,000. A call, and a turn.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Geshkenbein checked again. This time when Vandersmissen bet - to the tune of 330,000 - Geshkenbein just flat-called.

Geshkenbein check for a third time on the {7-Spades} river and this time Vandersmissen checked behind. Geshkenbein revelaed {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair, kings and deuces, and it was enough - Vandersmissen mucked and Geshkenbein raked in the pot, declaring, "Ship iiiiiiiiit!" as he did so.

Geshkenbein - up to 2.3 million
Vandersmissen - down to 4.7 million
