Jason Mercier brought out the old favourite of true poker lovers, the river check-raise. The board had been reading 
and Mercier had check-raised his opponent's 5,000 bet on the river to a substantial 14,700. Some tanking from said foe occurred but he was unconvinced by the American who can't seem to go a day or two without crushing a tournament somewhere in the world.
The call came and Mercier turned over 
for the full house, he's up to 42,000.
