Casey Kastle rasied to 20,000 in early position and Max Heinzelmann called in the hijack before former chip leader Georgios Manousos reraised to 56,500 in the cutoff. Kastle tanked for some minutes before pushing all in. Heinzelmann folded, but Manousos quietly pushed his stack across the line and they were on their backs.

It took a while for the stacks to be assessed, but it was eventually found that Kastle covered Manousos who doubled to 480,000. Kastle was left with just 30,000 as they headed into the break.
