Katchalov it Around

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Three handed action has been very slow. There is an awful lot of checking as post flop play is passive. It seems as if all players are waiting to get heads-up.

Eugene Katchalov will make a play when the spot is right though, as this hand proves. Dragan Kostic raised to 350,000 from the button and both players called. The flop came down {j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and all three players checked to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Martin Schleich led for 575,000 but soon faced a raise up to 1,250,000 from Katchalov. Kostic ducked out of the way and Schleich amitted defeat and folded.

From the button, Dragan Kostic raised to 360,000. Martin Schleich reraised to 950,000 from the small blind. Kostic called and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Schleich bet 675,000 and Kostic called to see the {Q-Hearts} land on the turn. Schleich opted to check and Kostic bet 1.575 million. Schleich check-raised all in and Kostic folded.

Dragan Squeezes Out Some Flames

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

We thought a big pot was brewing but it fizzled out preflop.

Martin Schleich raised to 325,000 from the button and Eugene Katchalov flat called from the small blind before Dragan Kostic three-bet to 925,000 from the big blind. Schleich starting fiddling with his chips like he was going to at least call but he folded, as did Katchalov.

Two for Martin

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Schleich won the next two pots and both of them to the detriment of Dragan Kostic.

Kostic raised from the button to 330,000 but folded when Schleich three-bet to 950,000.

The next hand Schleich raised to 325 from the button and Kostic defended his big blind to see a {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. The action was checked here and on the {q-Diamonds} turn before Kostic check-folded to a 675,000 bet on the {a-Clubs} river.

Two for Eugene

From the button, Martin Schleich raised to 325,000 and Eugene Katchalov three-bet to 850,000 from the small blind. His three-bet was good enough to win him the pot and he collected the chips.

On the next hand, Katchalov opened from the button to 325,000 and Dragan Kostic called from the small blind. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Kostic check-folded to a bet of 325,000 from Katchalov.

Two Bullets Enough for Schleich

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Schleich has really helped even up the stacks even more after he took a pot off Dragan Kostic.

He raised to 325,000 from the button and Kostic called from the big blind to see a {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop. The German continued for 325,000 and Kostic check-called to see the {2-Diamonds} turn. Schleich applied even more pressure with a 975,000 bet. It was enough to make the Spaniard check-fold.

Kostic Claims the Lead

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Dragan Kostic moved into the chip lead for the very first time but Eugene Katchalov counter-attacked to even it up at the top.

Katchalov raised to 250,000 from the button and called when Kostic three-bet to 650,000 from the samll blind. Katchalov wasn't interested on the flop though and folded to a c-bet.

The very next hand Katchalov was on the button and called a 250,000 button raise from Kostic to see an {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. He then led out for 400,000 and that was enough to force a fold from Kostic.
