Big Hit to Rosen
Jamie Rosen just took a big hit to his stack as about 50% of his chips were taken away due to a bad beat delivered by Christopher McClung. Here's how it happened.
From under the gun, McClung raised to 13,000 and then play folded to Rosen on the button. He three-bet to 30,500. The two blinds got out of the way and McClung tanked for a minute before reraising to what looked to be 78,000. Rosen immediately moved all in and McClung called.
Cards please.
McClung turned over the , but was dominated by the that Rosen held. McClung was all in for a total of 272,500 in chips while Rosen had about double that to start the hand.
The flop came down and gave McClung a come-from-behind lead. The turn was the and Rosen began to count out some chips fearing no help on the river. The river was the and that was that. Rosen sent over the chips while McClung ran over to friend Sam Chartier (who is playing the High Roller event) to tell him what happened. He then returned to collect his chips while Rosen could only think of what could've been.
