There are a few former EPT winners in the day 1a field today and one of them is the young Scot David Vamplew. He is currently seated to the direct left of Jesper Hoog who had a 5th place finish at a recent WPT event. We caught some action involving Vamplew midway through level one.
There was a dead big blind when Vamplew opened from the cut-off making it 300 to play and his opponent on the button three-bet to 800. Action back on Vamplew and he made the call.
