Just as the break was ending, we watched David Bach pull something shiny from his pocket. It was his bracelet from the 2008 $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship, and he slid it on his wrist and buckled the clasp.
Bach is doing well through the first half of the day with about 55,000 chips, but it never hurts to have a little bit of golden luck on your side.
