O'Dwyer Got What He Hoped For
Steve O'Dwyer is having a day like he did on Day 1a where he amassed an enormous stack. He hasn't quite reached those heights but he does have a top three stack again.
There was a raise to 10,500 from Bjarke Hansen in the cut-off that was called by Magnus Hansen and O'Dwyer in the blinds.
The flop came and it was O'Dwyer who led for 19,000, only check-called by Hansen. Similar occurrences on the turn were Hansen check-called a 45,000 bet. The river came and Hansen checked for a third time. O'Dwyer looked deep in thought and then said, "I hope I sucked out" as he revealed .
He might well have done but we'll never know as Hansen mucked.
