From the hijack seat Jonas Molander opened the betting to 525 but he met some resistance from Marius Pospiech on the button, who three-bet to 1,450. The small blind folded but Mickey Petersen called from the big blind and when Molander called the dealer put out the {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

Petersen checked, Molander checked behind but Pospiech tried his luck with a 1,300 bet. Petersen called but it was too much for Molander to call and his hand finished up in the muck. The turn gave was the {2-Hearts} and Petersen checked again and Popiech checked behind. The fifth and final community card was the {4-Hearts} and Petersen checked its arrival.

Popiech asked Petersen if he held pocket tens but the young Dane did not answer. Literally two seconds later Popiech checked. As he was the last aggressor Popiech had to show his hand, {10-Spades}{9-Spades} which lost to the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} of his young opponent.
